Jamison High School students returned safely from their Bronze qualifying hike. Two days of waterfalls, crossing swollen creeks, wading in the river, cooking in the rain, tall trees, deep canyons, teamwork, laughs and working together to overcome a significant physical challenge. Well done Jamo Dukes! ... See MoreSee Less
How do students get involved? My daughter will not be old enough until mid next year to start, but she has an expressed an interest in participating.
We’d just like to extend our thanks to Mr Maddock for introducing the Duke of Edinburgh challenge to Jamison High and for preparing the kids for the hikes and taking them kids on camp and also to Ms O’Donnell for taking the time to attend the camp. Despite the rain Jack has a good time.Congratulations to all involved, you should be very proud of yourselves.
I agree with all the above comments! THANK YOU so much for all the time training and attending the hikes with the kids, a lot of organisation goes into these types of excursions (the paperwork alone is a mountain), all your hard work is much appreciated. Josh had a great time, we just got the run down! Photos look amazing!!
Thankyou for the comments - Miss O'Donnell and I value being part of these significant experiences for your children. The weather made this expedition more challenging, but also more rewarding.
Thanks Mr Maddock and Ms O’Donnell! Hayden rang me as soon as he got home to tell me how great it was! What an experience!
Wow, thanks so much for taking them on such a wonderful walk!
Well done everyone!!👏
